In the year 1990, Jenny and Alana are at the back of the building where a rock'n'roll concert is taking place. Jenny is desperate to attend so she wants to get in any way she can.
"Jenny, this is wrong." Alana tries to reason with her, but Jenny doesn't want to hear it.
"Crap. There's an electronic lock. Hey, Alana."
"Yes?"
"Can't your PJ do something? After all, he can interact with electronic devices."
"Yes, but..."
Jenny begs her on her knees to unlock the door. Alana sighs.
"Well okay." She places PJ on the electronic lock. "PJ, open the lock."
"Unlocked." Says PJ after three seconds.
"YESSS! Alana, PJ, you're awesome!"
Jenny opens the door, enters the building, and Alana follows her.
"Quick, quick!" Jenny says as she runs. "It's about to start!"
Alana follows her running and they arrive in the concert room by one of its sides. No one has seen them come in. Jenny is excited. Alana feels indifferent, even though this is the first concert she has ever seen in her life. There are none in the year 3000.
Suddenly, the curtain rises and the concert begins, but Jenny is all upset. There is only one singer on stage. She is wearing yellow. Her hair is purple and her eyes are blue. She sings in Japanese and it's not rock'n'roll.
"What's this nonsense? Alana, ask PJ what’s going on."
"PJ, can you identify this singer?"
"I need a voice sample for identification."
"PJ, record a voice sample."
PJ beeps once and he records.
"PJ, identification." Alana then asks.
"This voice belongs to Creamy Mami, a Japanese idol who started her career two months ago. Her first song, Delicate Ni Sukishite, was a big hit."
"Creamy Mami..." Alana said thoughtfully.
"A Japanese idol. That sucks!" Says Jenny, annoyed.
She asks Alana to leave, but Alana listens to Creamy Mami sing.
"I can't understand anything she's singing, but it's wonderful!" She said, her eyes full of water. "Why do my eyes get so wet?" Alana begins to shed tears.
"They're tears of joy." Jenny explains. "Look, if you want to stay, you can, but I'm out of here."
Alana nods her head and Jenny leaves.
Two hours later, Alana finds Jenny in front of the Kelly's store.
"Well?" Jenny asks her.
"It was great! Creamy Mami even went into the crowd to shake hands with people."
"Did you get to shake her hand?"
"Yes! And exchange a few words."
"But that's so cool! I would flip out if I could shake hands with a celebrity."
Alana smiles and PJ beeps softly.
